Once a month, VisitNorway would like to take you on a digital journey to Norway, digging deeper in to a specific theme. Through virtual trips, seminars and chat rooms with Norwegian destinations, we hope to broaden your horizon and knowledge about what Norway has to offer, inspiring you to make new programs, or extend existing programs – adding more value, experiences and introducing the Norwegian soul to your clients. In May 2021, the chosen theme is Travel Slow. Slow travel is an approach to travel that emphasizes connection: to local people, cultures, food and music. We are amongst the happiest people in the world, and we love to show you how we live our lives. In the summer, with the bright and never-ending daylight, we tend to forget the night has come. While in the polar nights, and the blue season, we cuddle up in front of the fire place under a blanket. To connect and embrace the Norwegian experiences, you have to take your time.
